FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does your process work? 

When booking with us you only pay a 20% deposit. You would simply print a copy of your deposit receipt and present it at the front desk upon arrival. They will be expecting you. You would then pay the balance (80%) at the resort - cash or credit. The resort only issues a certain amount of day passes a day. This deposit ensures that your spots are reserved.

What is included with the Basic Melia Day Pass? 

The resort will provide towels, chairs, and grant you access to their non-motorized beach equipment free of charge (paddle boards, kayaks, etc).

Can I book the Basic Day Pass but buy lunch when I arrive? 

You can do this, but it will cost more. We negotiated a lunch special for our customers because we realized that there was a demand for better value for money. For example, a burger at the O’Grille Cafe is approx $22 a la carte. We saw the need to create a package that would offer a great sun and surf day with activities and lunch (+soft drink) for one reasonable rate.

What times do we have access to the Melia property? 

The day pass gives you access to the beach and pool areas. There is a lifeguard on duty until sunset. After this time, you are welcome to stay on property and have cocktails at the bars, dine at restaurants or access the adjacent Crystal Palace Casino.

What happens if it rains or if our ship does not dock?

In the event of inclement weather or if your ship does not dock for any reason, we will refund your deposit.
