What is a Pop Queen Cardio class like?
I’ve never danced before. Can I take this class?
Absolutely! No dance background is required, everyone is welcome! We always say this class is not about being a technically trained perfect dancer. It is about the cardio workout, having fun and feeling empowered.
What is the class format?
Follow-the-leader style cardio dance. Combining fun and easy to follow steps that will keep your heart rate up. The movement is repetitive. You are looking for patterns where each verse is the same and each chorus is the same. We dance to about 10-12 tracks that are the same each week so you can catch on. We add a new routine monthly to keep it fresh!
What do I need for class?
Wear comfortable runners. Please no bare feet, we don’t want you to get stepped on and injured! Water bottle is highly recommended. Some bring a small towel to wipe off between songs. We aren’t lying when we say, you will get sweaty!
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
All drop-ins and packages are non-refundable. During COVID, we have relaxed our cancellation policy to be able to cancel at any time without penalty. Our regular policy is to cancel classes at least 12 hours in advance to keep your class credit. If you cancel less than 12 hours to class or if you don’t show up, you will lose the class credit.
How do I cancel a class?
On the same system that you booked class either on popqueencardio.com or through the Mindbody app. There will be an option to cancel.
I’m on the waitlist, what happens now?
You will be notified via text (if opted in) or email if a spot becomes available up to 2 hours prior to class start time. If you do not receive any notification, no spot has become available. In which case, your class will remain credited to your account.
I see people wearing merch! How do I get my hands on some?
