OVERVIEW

Cruise passengers on short calls on Nassau, or others short on time in the Bahamas, will enjoy this highlights tour of Nassau. It's the perfect  introduction for first-time visitors. Explore the Parliament buildings, Queen’s Staircase, Fort Fincastle, Rawson Square, the Straw Market, and the Atlantis resort, traveling between attractions with ease in an air-conditioned coach. A tasting at the Bahamas Rum Cake Factory is also included.

Meet your guide at the cruise port to start your Nassau sightseeing tour. Board an air-conditioned coach and explore the area around Bay Street.
Visit historic landmarks, such as Parliament Square, the Government House, Rawson Square, and the Nassau Public Library. Housed in one of the Bahamas’ oldest buildings, the octagonal library building once served as the country’s first prison. Then stop at Fort Fincastle to see its massive water tower and walk down the Queen’s Staircase, a 102-foot (31-meter) limestone staircase.
Shop for souvenirs at the Straw Market and visit the original Bahamas Rum Cake Factory to try this popular Bahamian dessert. That leaves just enough time to pop into the five-star Atlantis resort before heading back to the cruise port to end your tour.
