Getting There

Getting there is easy. There are two options: The #10 bus from downtown Nassau goes right by the Melia. It’s quick, safe, and cost effective. Drivers are accustomed to first time visitors taking the bus along the Cable Beach area, so points of interest and popular destinations are usually mentioned along the way. Upon booking, you’d receive an email with specific walking direction to the bus stop. Taxis are lined up at the cruise port and are on hand at the entrance of the Melia. The resort is a convenient short drive from the cruise pier and the fare is about $15 for the first two people. Round trip pricing can be negotiated with a driver. Although the cruise port is nearby, we always suggest you depart resort 60 to 90 minutes prior to your ship’s scheduled departure time.
